Menu of the configurator contains the following items:

  • File 鈥 group of the general commands:
    • Load from DB 鈥 loads the selected object or branch of the object from the database.
    • Load from DB forcibly 鈥 loads the selected object or branch of the object from the database forcibly, not only when it changed.
    • Save to DB 鈥 saves the selected object or branch of the object to the database.
    • Save to DB forcibly 鈥 saves the selected object or branch of the object to the database forcibly, not only when it changed.
    • Close 鈥 closes the configurator window.
    • Quit 鈥 quits OpenSCADA.
  • Edit 鈥 editing commands:
    • Add 鈥 adds a new object to the container.
    • Delete 鈥 deletes the selected object.
    • Copy item 鈥 copies the selected object.
    • Cut item 鈥 cuts of the selected object. The original object is removed after paste.
    • Paste item 鈥 pastes of the copied or cut item.
  • View 鈥 navigation and control of the view commands:
    • Up 鈥 goes to the parent page.
    • Back 鈥 goes back to the previous page, with a menu of direct access items.
    • Forward 鈥 goes forward to the forward page, with a menu of direct access items.
    • Refresh 鈥 refreshes the current page.
    • Start 鈥 runs periodically update of the current page content with an interval of one second.
    • Stop 鈥 stops the periodically update of the current page content with an interval of one second.
    • Favorite 鈥 going to the selected favorite pages.
    • Append to favorite for {Page}/Remove from favorite for {Page} 鈥 toggles the current page as favorite.
  • Help 鈥 assistance call commands:
    • About 鈥 information about this module and OpenSCADA.
    • About Qt 鈥 information about the Qt library.
    • Manual on 'QTCfg' 鈥 calls inline or offline manual on the module QTCfg.
    • Manual on 'OpenSCADA 0.9' 鈥 calls inline or offline index of links to documents and manuals on OpenSCADA.
    • Manual on the page 鈥 calls inline or offline manual on selected page.
    • What's This 鈥 requests information for the interface elements and receive their full contextual help.
