TDE is based on KDE3 and in year about 2011 it was founded by forking from the last KDE3 3.5.13 version with trying to merge Qt3 with Qt4 by the tqtinterface and that has been terminated now and the project is targeted to rebranding both Qt3 and KDE3 to TDE with their enhancing.
