TDE + OpenSCADA
The Trinity Desktop Environment (TDE) project is a computer desktop environment for Unix-like operating systems with a primary goal of retaining the function and form of traditional desktop computers.
Due to that release the Automation Linux distributive — a subproject of the OpenSCADA project, was updated for the new version in several key essences, besides the patched packages typical rebuilding with the patches reajustment.
The packages "tdelibs" and "tdebase" were removed due to this fixes were applied in the master and stable branches of TDE. The patched packages "tdemultimedia-trinity", "tdenetwork-trinity" and "tdeutils-trinity" were rebuilt. The new patched package "tde-i18n-uk-trinity" was built. And all these packages was built for Debian 7, 8, 9, 10; which, compared to the original version of TDE, distinguishes TDE in the Linux Automation as follows:
- "tdenetwork" — preventing KRfb and Kopete crashes, complementing KRfb with full support for entering characters outside the main keyboard layout, such as Cyrillic and special characters in the Latin layout of a typical VNC session;
- "tdemultimedia" — supplementing KMix with the correct operation of PulseAudio as the main mixer and its dynamization to update the change of the main channel and the configuration of sound controllers in general, such as the removal and appearance of new ones;
- "tdeutils" — adaptation of KMilo to the specialization of the main channel of the KMix sound mixer, giving the possibility of precise control of the screen brightness;
- "tde-i18n" — final translation into Ukrainian on the differences with the main branch, primarily for the logout dialogue.
Before the packages building there was changed the scheme of the package version forming of this distributive from "{+1}:14.0.9-0" to "4:14.0.9-{+1}" to prevent these packages freeze on next TDE versions. And the TDE main package repository of the 
Live Disks was switched to the branch "r14.0.x" instead the preliminary stable, what also present but commented. The Live Disk images were rebuilt for the Work and LTS branches.
Before the release there, in TDE Weblate, have finished the translation to Ukrainian for the parts-packages of TDE: tdelibs, tdebase, tdegraphics, tdenetwork, tdemultimedia, tdepim, tdeadmin, tdeaccessibility, tdeutils, krusader, yakuake, basket. And the patched package "tde-i18n-uk-trinity" was created for translating the branch "r14.0.x" difference from the master branch.
The patch in "tdeutils" was appended for the key combination with holding Ctrl of slow changing the display brightness for KMilo.
Due to changing the scheme of the package version forming, and what became lesser for the old packages of the installed systems, we have to follow the next procedure to restore normal updating of the already installed systems of the Linux Automation:
- change the main TDE repository from the preliminary stable to the branch "r14.0.x", editing the file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/live.list for appending the lines:

deb http://mirror.ppa.trinitydesktop.org/trinity/deb/trinity-builddeps-r14.0.x {YOURDISTR} main
and commenting the line:
deb http://mirror.ppa.trinitydesktop.org/trinity/deb/trinity-sb {YOURDISTR} main-r14 deps-r14 - update the repository information and the installation itself:
$ apt-get update; apt-get dist-upgrade - downgrade the patched and removed already packages by the special script execution autoLinuxRepConvFor14.0.9.
