You linked to a parameter "prm:../../word" where is no data attribute, and the relative links correctly work with wide using and testing!

Hello. I have a multi-level structure in my data acquisition system where a standard parameter reads a register from the controller, and child logical parameters pull individual bits from this register. This is designed specifically to make it easy to copy similar blocks by changing the register address in just one place, rather than in each logical parameter. I'm encountering a problem where the connection to the source is broken when restarting the SCADA system. The configuration field specifies prm:../../word (+), but the connection is broken. What am I doing wrong?

I have no problem there whether on a new project or the AGLCS model and the last Work and LTS versions.

Through the Control Interface you can do all that do in a configurator, so just send requests in the tab "Archivation" of need parameters.

Thank you. It's amazing how I missed this parameter when I read the documentation.
I have another question about mass activation of archiving. Is it possible? I want to go through all the elements of the SYS.DAQ.ModBus.x.y tree with a script and set up archiving of a certain attribute. Or is the only way to do it the other way around and create an archiver and specify the data source in it?

Good day. It is possible to clone controllers and parameters using a script on javalikecalc. According to the documentation, I have sketched out a simple code for an example. Is it possible to do such a manipulation with a remote host? I can do this through qtcfg, but I did not understand how to access the elements of a remote workstation.

Is there any way to inser HTML meta tag in to www mainframe of the VCA project page?
Faced a problem that on mobile phones the www view is loaded in 1:1 pixel scale which is way to small to view.
For the start and login page this was easily solved by adding HTML Templates in HTTP modules with inserted line

This worked ok there. Now login dialog fits to full phone screen width.

But is there any way to insert such line in to actual project view HTML generator?

In my case, it would be optimal to load the configuration of the first controller from the database, and clone the remaining N-1, since they only differ in the transport address and individual archivers (about 20 values per controller). But, as I understand, this cannot be done now. In any case, thanks for the tip. I'll look into the issue with other storage facilities.

Starting was optimised in maximum and it depends only from the storage features and used DB, about that read:

Good afternoon. I wanted to know if there was a way to speed up the launch of OpenSCADA. I have N identical controllers with a large number of logical parameters (in the form of a tree). Startup with one controller takes approximately 20-30 seconds. The running system works quickly. Is it possible to speed it up?
I don't need to save the computation context. I tried to specify the same table for all controllers, but this does not affect the speed and when any controller is deleted, they all break at once (the tables are deleted).

Hello,

Could somebody point me to description how "input" and "output" variables are defined for javalike processing in visual develop engine?
In "Calculator on Java like language" it is IO table where variables defined but in visual processor is no such table. Was thinking that attribute names of the widget serves as variable names - but when tried this - it not works.
For example created widget box, added string attribute "outText" and put the code to assign some value to it. Then Linked this attribute to a text field to see it value - but code seems to do nothing. Value is allways . Screen attached.
Anybody could point me to example or clear description how variables are passed in and out to visual processing code? And when this code is executed? In certain intervales? Or on some evants?
In AGLKS example I see only manipulations with visual items, while I want to find out how to read/write values to block calculator registers on ButtonPress and so on.

Thanks for answer. Yes, decision making and storage is job of PLC, but this SCADA is so powerful that it can easily do that work also. I think I will make a separate RS485 module with microcontroller and EEPROM to store some parameters while decion making still assign to SCADA. Thanks a lot

Parameters like to SP are stored not in SCADA but in PLC, which implements such regulators, obviously.
If this regulator is builtin to OpenSCADA like to simulators-models, then all its data is stored in the simulator storage — http://oscada.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Using/Model_AGLKS

in Openscada what is the recommended way to store user settings? To put it simple - need to keep record of user entered Temeterature setpoint so that when power fails and system reboots same value could be retrieved and used again.
I think it could be done by creating TemplateLib java function to read/write some file on disk, or is there any other/better way to acheive this?
