Affects: QT Vision and Webvision.
Versions: SVN
Description: Main Pages cannot call lateral controls. Grouping fails, you get a new window in QT Vision and Webvision. Beside this in Webvision application frecuently crashes.
How to reproduce:
1. Open Demo DB
2. In Projects, add this to any main page(*) and make it active.
ws_FocusIn:: open:/pg_control/pg_ElCadr
For example to AGLKS>Root Page (SO)>KM101>Graphics>Graphics 1.
3. Run project. Click on page.
Results:
QT vision open a new window.
Webvision want to open a new window and session crashes. Frecuently main application crashes.

Issue is not trivial.
I you use a dynamically linked main page and you want to call a lateral control (ElCadr), only from main page it is possible (Double dynamic link), and this fails.

Tested SVN today and problem is reproduced for me.
Do you make active=true and add above event to attributes on indicated page? A new window appears in QT and Webvision.
if you cannot reproduce, perhaps a library problem? I am using Debian and Ubuntu.

Other issue, dude. About WebVision. My project runs OK in Firefox and Opera, but there are problems on IE8, with focus and Z-Index. I put transparent active Boxes (z=10) over ElFigure, Images and Texts (z<10), but on IE8 they get preference and you cannot click on Boxes.
And with the new version of Opera, v10, ElGraph blinks, it does not a smooth transition. I think it is a Opera bug, and I reported.

I don't support working the UI.WebVision and UI.QTCfgD on any IE's versions.
